TightVNC on Windows 7 very slow | Remote desktop alternative for Windows 7 Home

Easy kind of fix, although still slow.

Download TIGHTVNC, google it. Install on both machines.

Now speed it up:

  • In TightVNC Server settings set the poll refresh to full screen and the delay to 1ms.
  • In TightVNC Client settings choose High Speed mode if you’re on a LAN.

    Hi,
    Did anyone had any problem with the key board mapping when connection to mac from windows 7? For me, when I type a letter, it prints a random number bcause of which I even don’t can login to my mac.. Any suggestions are really appreciated…

    bs. 35ms is minimum delay, also wont make any big difference.
    Install UltraVNC.
