As many have pointed out today, the 2002 hit by Alfredsson on Tucker was not clean either - but one dirty hit does not justify another. The worst hit I have seen is the Scott Stevens hit on Ron Francics a few years back with the flimsy excuse that it was a shoulder, not an elbow. In that case even the pathetic argument that 'he as asking for it' couldn't be used. Hockey can be so absurd, I don't think this crap has any place in the game - the crazy comments on both sides of the fence today show the mentality, which is pretty pathetic. Interesting comments.
