So this title doesn’t make sense, well neither does this late breaking news from Reuters. Some chef made made a thousand dollar bagel with white truffles and 23 karat edible gold leaves… Gold, does that taste good? Guess I’ll never know. Anyhow, that’s just absolute silliness.

“What speaks to New York better then a $1000 bagel?”, hurts my brain. At first I was all like ” Oh, that’s great, it’s for charity, but wait… Nono, it’s proceeds are donated to a foundation that supports the culinary arts… Thus supporting future generations of douche bags who will create unnecessarily expensive food. There’s a fine line between creative and pompous… I think we’re doing a great job at crossing it.

In other late breaking douche bag news… A $25 000 dollar dessert.
