It’s that time of the year again, to paint our faces red and put our rowdy cheering hats on!

The excitement, the cheering, the red, ah man this is my favorite time of the year. The winter slowly fades and I couldn’t think of a better way to bring on the summer. This year the Senators face the Penguins for the first round of the playoffs. Good news is , Mr. McGratton is practicing today which can only mean one thing, well to me anyway. We’re getting ready to pummel the shit out of the Penguins!

With the Penguins beating us 3 straight times in a row, 2 of which where Overtime, we face a hell of first round. Good news is , there are no shootouts in the playoffs. Some of the greatest players in the NHL reside on both sides which is going to make for some great hockey. Other good news is Pengiuns are a young team lacking the experience of some of our elite such as Heatley, Alfie and Redden. What’s also encouraging is watching how Volchenkov will manage covering Mr. Crosy who is the NHL’s leader in points.

I got my tickets for the first game tomorrow night and I can’t wait, it’s going to be an awesome series!
